  • Question: What is TrackMan Handicap?

Answer: TrackMan Handicap is a measure of your playing ability in Virtual Golf. The TrackMan Handicap is inspired by the new worldwide rules (WHS), where players are adjusted up/down based on a subset of their latest rounds. If you are logged in with a TrackMan account, you will receive a TrackMan Handicap after your first round of Virtual Golf. From that point, your TrackMan Handicap is automatically updated after each round of Virtual Golf.

Question: How do I get my TrackMan Handicap?

Answer: If you are logged into your TrackMan account, and play a round without using mulligans, with a gimme distance of less than 12ft or 3.5m, you will receive a TrackMan Handicap after your first round of Virtual Golf. If any of these conditions have not been fulfilled, the score will not count towards your TrackMan Handicap. Scores from private and tournament rounds which fulfill these requirements are included in the calculation of your TrackMan Handicap.

Question: How is TrackMan Handicap adjusted?

Answer: TrackMan Handicap is inspired by the new worldwide rules (WHS), where players are adjusted up/down based on a subset of their latest rounds. TrackMan automatically adjusts your handicap after each round based on your scores. If you post a score that is significantly better than your TrackMan Handicap, TrackMan might adjust your TrackMan Handicap more than the average of the subset of your latest rounds to make sure that your playing ability is reflected in the TrackMan Handicap.

Question: Will 9-hole rounds count towards updating my handicap?

Answer: Yes, 9-hole rounds will count, but only if you select to play 9 holes (either front or back 9). If you select 18 holes and quit after 10 holes, but never resume and finish the round it will not count towards updating your handicap. For 9-hole rounds, the adjustment is based on twice the 9-hole differential. (Ex., if your 9 hole differential is 2.2 it will be doubled to 4.4, so if your handicap is 4.5 you will be adjusted downwards slightly.) If you quit the round and finish it later, your handicap will be adjusted once the round is complete.

Question: Where can I find my new TrackMan Handicap?

Answer: You can find your TrackMan Handicap in TPS while you are logged in, TrackManIndoor.com, and the TrackMan Golf app.
